Evolving Roles in Modern Relationships: Reality or Arrogance?

Virtual
In this insightful presentation to a group of young men and women of the Christ-Centered Global Fellowship, I explored how relationship roles have shifted from historical, culture-driven expectations to the flexible, collaborative partnerships we see emerging today. Drawing from research, Scripture, and social trends, the presentation examined why modern relationships feel more complex, how gender roles developed, and what the Bible truly teaches about mutual respect, honor, and shared responsibility.
I highlighted the difference between empowerment, which strengthens relationships, and arrogance, which undermines relationships. I also emphasized that as society evolves, individuals and couples must learn to adapt with wisdom, communicate effectively, and define roles based on strengths rather than stereotypes.
This presentation challenged long-held assumptions and offered practical, faith-grounded guidance for navigating modern relationship dynamics with humility, understanding, and purpose.
