I had the opportunity to do a presentation for the Women Ministries on the topic ' The Silent Destroyer: Understanding the impact of negative communication.

Drawing from research, Scripture, and social trends, the presentation examined why modern relationships feel more complex, how gender roles developed, and what the Bible truly teaches about mutual respect, honor, and shared responsibility.

Healthy relationships require honesty, respect, and the courage to speak up. Too often, we swing between silence and aggression, either keeping quiet to avoid conflict or speaking so forcefully that we hurt others. Assertiveness offers a better way. As Ephesians 4:15 reminds us, “speaking the truth in love” is the path to growth and maturity.

Inspiration isn’t about titles or big speeches; it’s about daily choices that shine light in a noisy world. Learning simple acts of kindness, resilience, and integrity can make you a person of value who uplifts others.

Assertiveness is more complex than simply airing your grievances, demanding your rights or telling someone off.
